৩. "Thakurmar Jhuli" means 'Grandmother's Tales': is a collection of Bengali folk tales and fairy tales. Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder was the person who first collected some folk-stories of Bengali and published it under the name of "Thakurmar Jhuli" in 1907. Rabindra Nath Thakur wrote the introduction to the compilation. Since then, it has become a favourite of Bengali children. Ghosts are an important part of folklore in Bengal.The creature you see in this film is a ghost of a married woman who usually wears bangles made of Shell, which is a sign of married woman in Bengal.
